Corey Wallace's thoughts:
This was my first vacation race and wow. Just wow. The expo was unforgettable and I can’t explain it in words, you just have to experience it. Race morning was a bit rough bc it was raining, but such a pleasant race. There were a good amount of inclines (especially in the beginning), but it’s all worth it when you get to the top. The last little bit of the race is awesome! You are def out in the middle of nowhere when running, and there are points where there were no “cheer stations” so it’s true grit in those parts. The area cares about environment so they provide water packs so you can refill at water stations. Highly recommend this race and any vacation race bc the scenery/experience is worth it!
