Spectacular marathon! low key "expo"- check in, get the bib, some merchandise, and out- very simple, which is the way it should be.
Marathon morning was also low key. Get on the ferry to the start at Two Harbors. Line up... "read, set, go". course was very well marked. Challenging trail course with 4310 total elevation gain... and spectacular views. Well stocked aid stations with very friendly volunteers.
Finisher's shirt at the end. Finish area is also low key, which is nice.
a small race with only about 500 people, it is fun to see the same people around the small town before and after.
