I thought this race was an awesome one for those living in Dallas Texas as well as a great first half marathon. The swag was a dark blue jersey long sleeve which was super cute. The only sad thing was the beanies for the race were only given to the first 750 participants and I didn’t get one The swag was a dark blue jersey long sleeve which was super cute. The only bad thing was there weren’t really any places to stop to use the restroom along the course. The course was very pretty and I only had mild ups and downs. The bridges that we crossed however shook when runners were on them which unfortunately it made me a little bit dizzy. The race staff and volunteers were really nice and excited to be there. Overall I would highly recommend this race and I thought it was a lot of fun and an easy thing to do since I live nearby.
