Jessica Nibert's thoughts:

I really enjoyed this race despite some problems.
To start, there was no real corral system and it was very jammed despite there being a long street blocked off behind the start line. I couldn't see any pacers at the start, but I did find them after the race started.
At a majority of the water stations, there were no cups pre filled and I had to wait for water, and some cups were barely filled with one mouthful.
I enjoyed the post race party, but wish it would have gone longer, I finished the race around 1040 and by the time I made it over there only had 1.5 hours, that's not a lot of time to enjoy the bourbon samples and beer. The music was way too loud as well and I was really glad they stopped 30 minutes before the bash ended.
Lastly, I really liked the engraved bottles, but I'm not sure why we preordered them. After the bash we waited in a long line for someone to look up our time to be engraved on the bottle, and we were then told it would be "a long time" before it was ready so we had to come back again.

Despite the trouble, I did like the course and the race, there are just improvements that need to be made.
