The 10K and full Marathon start an hour ahead of the Half and I love that. Also every year they select an aircraft for the medal and on race day that aircraft does a flyover at the start of the race. Its a highlight for me. If you have family and friends with you and waiting for you at the finish line, they can visit the Air Force Museum while they wait, its free and less than 200 yards from the finish line.
