Running a marathon is a scary experience for sure. Yet running Chicago will alleviate your FEARS. From start to finish the spectators and volunteers are amazing. You are encouraged and motivated every step of the way. Chicago is flat and therefore, the Chicago marathon is surely a perfect first marathon for anyone who wants to experience something wonderful! The race is very organized and volunteers knowledgeable. Even though I am from Chicago, I must admit, the course is beautiful. You run through so many different neighborhoods and are welcomed with live music, djs, food, and the list goes on and on. Definitely a marathon you want to experience.
