If you are looking for a great race, then this is your race. It may be a small race but the support and feeling safe makes it top notch. There are water stops every mle after mile 2/ Besides, the water stops, there is no time limit on this race. This race is very scenic. YOu get to run up and down a mountain, run on a golf course, across two states, across a swinging bridge.

I was the 6 1/2 hour marathon pacer or sweeper for this race and my pacing method is to be ahead of schedule and then at the 20 mile mark slow down. We were about 10-15 minutes ahead of schedule at Mile 11 through 15 and we were forced to the curb. I have expressed this to the race management. Even though, I had this bad experience in 2024 they are having a new course and Ima planning on pacing again in 2024.

I did both the 5k and the half marathon for Rock 'n; Roll Las Vegas. The 5K was held at the Fremont Street Experience. The problem that I faced was getting to the Fremont Street Experience. I got on the bus over 2 hours before the event and due to traffic, I barely made the starting line in time to run. I really wish that would have help this event closer to the strip

This was my go to race for Nevada Half Marathon. I really enjoyed running the strip as it is very hard to enjoy Las Vegas in just a couple of days. This was the biggest half marathon in terms of numbers and it was great to enjoy the lights. The first 10K was nice because you are with all the lights of Vegas; however, the second half of the half marathon is a little dark but I felt safe the whole time. You also finish right in front of the Bellagio fountain and you just feel the crowd as you get closer.

I ran this race in 2022. The race started late (Not because of anything the race management could do) because it was pouring rain. I think the rain scared some of the runners away as well. This is a great small race as they provided pacers and great after party with food. The course is pretty flat.
