I participated in both the 5K and the half marathon. The 5K was downtown Canton and finished at the Hall of Fame Plaza and the Half marathon/marathon finished at the Hall of Fame Stadium. This was the last year of it finishing at the stadium. The half marathon was SUPER HOT and I wish that there was more Aid Stations.

Originally I was scheduled for the Rock 'n; Roll Seattle and then it was cancelled. This race was comped due to the Seattle being cancelled. This was my third Rock 'n' Roll race. The scenery for the half marathon was pretty good, I just wish it went through Phoenix more. The best part of this race was the blue mile.

If you want a half marathon with crowd support or Aid station support, this is not your race. However, if you want a downhill race with great course scenery, this is your race. Originally, I was supposed to do Rock 'n' Seattle; however; the race was cancel so I emailed the race director and he gave me a discount code for this race. You park in a field and a bus takes you close to the start line, up in the Cascades. You finish at the bottom, pretty much right next to your car.

Ran this race to cover my 50 states for Tennessee. For Packet Pickup, we showed up about 5 minutes before it closed, mainly due to traffic from Missouri. The course went down Beale St and after a few turns, we were on Riverside Drive and then back up into downtown and out 4th Street, passing several Memphis landmarks along the way: Mud Island, The Peabody Hotel and the Blues Museum.
