This is a great Thanksgiving Day Run in Jefferson City. The course is the flattest that you could have in this part of the country. This race got me back into running. There are options of a 5K or 10K. The winners of each age group gets a free pie. The course is flat like I said earlier. The first 5K goes to the Katy Trail and then back to the dog park. If you decide to do the 10K, you run the first 5K and the second 5K goes basically over to 63 diamonds and back.

This was my first half marathon. In 2016, this race started downtown St. louis, crossed the bridge to Illinois, then crossed back to St. Louis. After crossing back, we ran over and through the Brewery and came back to the start. Even though my time doesn't reflect the course or my running ability, this is a fantastic race. I would love to run it again.
